Self-help tool

Assisted self-help is a program designed for you to work on mental health challenges on your own, with follow-up from staff in the health department at SiS.

You can also get help with other topics via Assisted Self-Help.

These include coping with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Sleep difficulties
  • Stress and burdens
  • Worries
  • Perfectionism
  • Exposure
  • Improving self-esteem

Before starting the program, we recommend that you schedule a one-on-one session with a therapist at SiS. Here, we can work together to create a plan for working with the program. You can schedule a follow-up call six weeks later. During this call, you will be asked how you feel it's going so far. 4-6 weeks later, you will have a concluding session where you will review together how effective the assisted self-help has been for you.
